11th Hour Service: Cognitive Automation Innovation Center

11th Hour’s Cognitive Automation Innovation Center (CAIC) is dedicated to helping our customers align advanced cognitive and process automation technologies to enable intelligent decision-making and enhanced operational efficiency by leveraging organizational data assets and institutional knowledge.  Our mission is to inspire and enable a pathway for transformative change by fostering collaboration, championing innovation, and delivering scalable, ethical, and impactful cognitive and autonomous solutions that align with and support customer strategic, and tactical goals and objectives.  Through thought leadership and innovative research, modeling, and prototyping, we aim to be a trusted partner in shaping the future of AI, machine learning and cognitive computing by supporting our customers as they navigate a path forward using these powerful but complex technologies.   

Our CAIC currently supports two Centers of Excellence (CoE) featuring advanced cognitive and automation technologies including an Artificial Intelligence (AI) CoE and Intelligent Automation (IA) CoE.  We recognize that each of our CoEs  provide capabilities that are unique but complimentary as we look for ways to innovate and to maximize successful outcomes for our clients.  This includes scenarios involving integration and orchestration of the components of these two domains to address the most complex needs.  Our teams are focused on pushing the limits of what can be achieved in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of processes and systems for managing organizational cognitive and process workloads.  

Artificial Intelligence CoE

Our AI CoE focuses on solutions leveraging the latest Generative AI technologies using platforms and models to accommodate customer preferences and specific requirements.  Our approach begins with assessing customer AI readiness levels in key areas including data readiness, technology capabilities, AI workforce talent, AI governance and ethics framework maturity and control environment.  For each of our AI engagements, we collaborate with customers to develop tailored AI Roadmaps and Implementation Plans to align solution milestones with organizational AI objectives and outcomes in an expedited delivery model.

Intelligent Automation CoE

The IA CoE supports technologies and solutions focused on transactional, process automation and data insight and visualization use cases and includes low-code development platforms like robotic process automation (RPA) and enterprise automation solutions and data analytics. These technologies can be used to reduce or eliminate repetitive and/or labor-intensive workloads freeing up highly skilled staff to focus on more valued added tasks such as using data analytics to operate more efficiency, prioritizing agency mission objectives, and strategic planning. For our IA engagements, we use an approach that mirrors how we deliver AI solutions. Our teams collaborate with customers to develop tailored IA Roadmaps and Implementation Plans to align solution milestones with organizational IA objectives and outcomes in an expedited delivery model.
