Marketing Intern (part-time)

About the Internship

This internship offers a valuable opportunity for a highly motivated and driven college student to gain practical experience in corporate brand and marketing while supporting their transition through school. You’ll have the chance to apply your academic knowledge and skills to real-world challenges, contributing meaningfully to the success of 11th Hour Service.

Key Responsibilities:

 

Marketing & Communications Support:

  • Works collaboratively with the operations lead and department leadership to support the intern’s and the firm’s success.
  • Research current market trends, competitor analysis, and industry best practices.
  • Assist in developing and implementing a comprehensive brand and marketing strategy, including identifying target audiences, defining brand messaging, and developing creative content and storylines.
  • Collaborate with the team to analyze data and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to SEO, website traffic, and marketing campaigns.
  • Utilize marketing tools such as Canva, Shutterstock, Mailchimp, and Hootsuite to create engaging visual content, manage email campaigns, and schedule social media posts.
  • Assist in the planning and executing of marketing events, including coordinating logistics, managing guest lists, and ensuring smooth event operations with the support of the marketing operations lead.

 

Office Administration:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the office, greeting visitors and managing incoming calls.
  • Place orders for office supplies, groceries, and other necessary materials.
  • Catalog and distribute incoming mail.
  • Maintain a clean and organized office environment.

 

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a [Year] [Major] program at an accredited university.
  • Strong interest in [Your Industry] and a passion for marketing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Office Suite, LinkedIn, Hootsuite, Mailchimp and Canva along with alternative tools that relate.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach.
