Title: Business Analyst – Loan Servicing
Location: On-site – USDA Rural Development Servicing Office, 211 N. Broadway, St. Louis, MO, 63102
Client: U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) – Rural Development Servicing Office
Project: Loan Servicing & Mail Processing Support Services

Overview:
The Business Analyst supports the USDA Rural Development Servicing Office by developing reports, analyzing program data, and supporting process improvement initiatives within loan servicing operations. This role focuses on gathering, analyzing, and reporting operational data to support management decision-making and program performance monitoring.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience as an analyst in loan servicing.

  • US citizen or Permanent Resident, and able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities:
Reporting & Data Analysis:
• Develop and run ad hoc reports.
• Perform analysis of various program data within the loan servicing systems.
• Pull regularly scheduled standardized reports from GLS and Imaging Workflow System for lending partners, management, and Headquarters.
• Develop and gather data of unique performance metrics SFH-GLP for analysis.

Process Improvement Support:
• Research, develop, and implement process improvement tools utilizing MS Office products, including Access, Excel, and SharePoint, along with existing software applications such as Enterprise Content Management, Workflow, and Imaging.
• Research, analyze, and recommend software solutions for business process improvements.
• Research, analyze, and recommend automated solutions for capturing performance metrics.

Documentation & Procedure Support:
• Research, analyze, and update procedures and user instruction guides.

Work Environment:
• Work is performed on-site at the USDA Rural Development Servicing Office in St. Louis, MO.
• Services are performed Monday through Friday between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. CST, excluding federal holidays.

Security & Background Requirements:
• Personnel must complete the required USDA security documentation and training prior to system access.
• Background investigation requirements apply before starting work.
• U.S. citizenship or Permanent Resident status is required for on-site personnel.
